I was back to our family's Montana home this weekend, and spent some time examining the Monte as we're getting ready to bring it back to my Seattle home later this year to start bringing our '70 back to life.

It's in remarkably good condition for its age and given that it's sat covered for probably 10 years now. It definitely needs a battery, tires and transmission (which I already knew), and the paint and chrome are tired, but there has been no additional damage - like rodents, which I feared.
